The Requirement

Conduct a team building event which allows for inter and intra department interactions, with participants based in several office locations due to Covid 19 Safe Management Measures.

WORK FILES-05.png

The Solution

A fun and engaging team building event was conducted through Tbit app with the theme Around The World.   Staff were organised into teams and participated enthusiastically in a series of quizzes and challenges, which were time-released through Tbit over the 2-hour event.

Teams danced to a K-pop video challenge, competed in an origami game, picked up objects in a chopstick task and more!   All tasks and challenges were ‘judged’ instantly through participants’ submission of photos and videos through the app.  Teams could check their scores real-time using the leaderboard.

The main chat group was active with encouraging messages from management, while teams interacted with their teammates using the team chat function.  The team building event was a resounding success, made sweeter with a fraction of the usual event budget incurred.

Student
Orientation

Design a unique tertiary orientation programme to be held on campus grounds to welcome new students without the need for large numbers of facilitators.
This orientation programme must be easily duplicated for every new cohort of students.

The Solution

Tbit engaged students with an experience they will never forget as they embark on a new chapter in life.

A pre-recorded address on Tbit by the respective faculty members welcomed new students.  After creating their team profile photos, students participated in ice breaker games, group photo and video challenges through Tbit mobile app.  Points were awarded instantly for successfully completed missions.

Students were guided by GPS-triggered location clues to visit various landmarks on campus ground.  The app's self-directed missions enabled the orientation to be conducted campus-wide without the need to deploy administrators at pitstops.  Many participants shared game photos and videos instantly using the integrated social media tool.

Upon encountering inclement weather, the orientation organiser announced in the Main Chat group of a change of plans.  Challenges were retimed and reordered for the orientation to continue indoors.  This quick re-programming would not have been possible in a traditional event given the logistics and manpower involved.

Staff
Onboarding

The Requirement

The client brief was to create an introduction program which takes care of coordination and logistical issues. for each cycle of employee onboarding.  The same programme must be easily duplicated for other onboarding cycles.

WORK FILES-03.png

The Solution

New employees were surprised the gathering place for the onboarding was at the building atrium and not a meeting room.  This sets the tone for a memorable programme.   Once Tbit app has been downloaded on their mobile phones, the onboarding kicked-off when the new hires log in.

Department presentations were pre-recorded and rotated with interactive quiz and fun missions on the company’s core values, principles and regulations, allowing the company’s culture and vibe to be showcased in a fun and unconventional way.

Posing with items from the welcome pack, staff had to submit photos of themselves and colleagues during venue challenges - staff canteen, photocopier machines, and meeting rooms.  These activities helped staff assimilate into the new environment, and at the same time created an instant photo library of memories.

Whether there are 2, 5 or 10 new hires, this onboarding programme could be rolled out whenever new employees join the company.  The programme has a multi language tool which allows staff to select their preferred language and is especially use for new hires from other countries.

Discovery Trail

The challenge was to create an exciting discovery trail experience to explore and discover Singapore’s rail corridor network with minimal manpower deployed at pit stops.

The event, targeting families and children, is expected to draw up to two thousand participants over a three-week period.

WORK FILES-04.png

The Solution

Exercise, app games, attractive prizes – Tbit’s discovery trail had all these elements for participants.

To promote awareness of Singapore’s network of rail corridors and foster family bonding, participants were taken on a discovery trail of Singapore’s heritage landmarks, sights, historical buildings and nature through an exciting discovery trail.

Participants who completed all missions in the trail received attractive prize vouchers.  GPS triggered missions directed participants to check in on the app when they arrived at various landmarks or to submit family photos next to destination signages.   Many participants were excited to post these photos and videos on social media using the integrated share feature.

There was something for every family member.  Other challenges included answering questions based on videos released on the app.  QR codes of flora species were placed strategically across the rail network for participants to scan and submit.   The in-app auto tool programmed challenges and missions to be automatically activated without the need for trail pit points to be manned.  With just a skeletal crew, the game organiser managed the three week event successfully offsite with positive engagement results to share with the client.
